Hypothetical scenario.

We know that Renpa offered to return to Zhao to help with their situation but Kakukai led the Zhao king to believe that Renpa was no longer useful and he was forbidden to return and we didn't get the mighty RR @RayanOO

In this scenario, let's say that the Zhao king accepts and Renpa returns to Zhao. We all know what Renpa is capable of.

We know that the Qin ultimately sent spies to put distrust for Riboku in the court, leading to his execution. As long as Riboku was alive, the Qin weren't able to take Zhao down. Renpa wasn't there, he had long been gone from Zhao, first in Wei, then in Chu, where he died as well.

How would Qin react? What would Qin lines of actions be?

If Qin had to deal with Renpa, Riboku and SBS, Ousen either dips back to Qin, or they bribe Qi or Wei to form an alliance.

However another risk of that strat would br other states might form another coalition with Zhao to counter that.
Keep in mind that when it comes to defense alone, Renpa was able to stalemate even Hakuki and Ouki for two whole years. With Riboku's great wall and his overall strategic vision, the addition of Renpa would make the whole situation insanely dangerous, more than it already is. Not to mention, Shibashou and his forces are there as well.

These guys planning warfare together, not good, lol.

Qin would have basically been fucked tbh. Even without Renpa, this unification of China requires way too much "luck" from Qin's side of thing. It's almost as jarring as Zhao's seemingly massive supply of new Great Generals.

Even this current conquest with the time limit that Sei and SHK have set, if Kanki didn't take that massive risk and advance alone, was going to be stalemated by fucking Kochou (even if he's a good general in Zhao's eyes)

Now, with Qin almost being at Kantan's doorstep, with only Riboku (and SBS) left to defeat, the same stalemate situation seems like it's going to repeat itself. You add Renpa to that mix, and it's Game Over for the unification of China (within the set time limit)

Qin could get creative and play the political game, trying to turn the Zhao court against their generals, but that's only really a viable strategy if Zhao was relying on Riboku as their only Great Heavens. IMO, it would almost impossible for Qin to manufacture a situation that would paint both Renpa and Riboku as untrustworthy in the eyes of the court. Just too many variables that would need to be perfectly aligned.

Nice post.

Considering how Riboku kicked Kanki's ass and stalemated the Qin and had them resorting to other means (they hadn't been able of conquering Zhao until that point) to take him out of the picture, if Riboku and Renpa (and Shibashou) were allowed to be together at the point of the story we are in...can you imagine the death trap level danger of the entire zone?

I reckon it would depend on Mouten and Shin growth, because it would basically be 3 great heavens generals against 3 GG and 2 candidates for the GG's position.
Despite the odds going against them I already think Qin will defeat Zhao in the current fight, Hara just can't give a win to Riboku :kayneshrug:

Qin would be fucked.

Their best bet would be hoping that Tou and/or Moubu can help Yotanwa/Ousen/Kanki with Zhao without Wei and Chu attacking them.

In scenario where Qin doesn't care about losing their territories and losing their capital; Qin only cares about annihilating Zhao from the map.

Then probably the alliance of Riboku+Shibashou+Renpa is still not enough. Qin sent all of their resources, Zhao is annihilated, and Qin won but crippled already.
By the time Qin annihilates Zhao they would get throttled by other states with no one of relevance protecting the borders, they will attack Qin full force and take advantage of it

It would be Qin's remaining generals trapped in side the wall build in Zhao waiting at any moment for other states that conquered their capital to make it there.

Did anyone remember chapter number where GyouUn has the flashback of RSJ coz i think RSJ was also there when Renpa was clashing with HakuKi and Ouki. And there was situation of stalemate. So it wasn't Renpa alone against two Qin six

Riboku was in command of Zhao army since long before western/southern Zhao campaign of Qin but never succeeded in securing homeland in multiple invasion of Qin army. Riboku was famous mostly because of slowing down Qin advance when Zhao was in weaker state due HakuKi nearly crushing down whole of the Zhao army in ChouHei massacre around 20-30 years back. Also he's mainly known for exterminating xiangnou tribe in Northern Zhao.

If we talk about story only, Riboku (even with the help Houken) lost against Ousen fairly. Kanki wasn't involved here. While Renpa has already lost against Ousen plus Kanki once but we should also remember that Ousen wasn't with any of his main commander there as in recent campaign. SBS doesn't have too much feats yet but i think he won't be much there would be much difference between him and Qin commanders.

So even if there's hypothetical situation where there's Riboku + Renpa + SBS against YTW + Ousen + SBS, i don't think Qin would be in disadvantage. At most there would be stalemate for a while coz both side are nearly equal.

A bit about Renpa and history:

Historically it was Wang He (Ou Kotsu) against Lian Po (Renpa) in beginning of battle of ChouHei, where OuKotsu heavily crushed first line of defense of Renpa and snatches Zhao lands from Renpa. 2nd line of defense of Zhao was on otherside of Dan River due to which Renpa succeeded in holding of OuKotsu. Here Hara in an interview also has corrected (and apologized) that he mistakenly made OuKotsu as Ouki in story but this interview was post coalition war in story so he also said it isn't going to affect story in future. But we also see Ouki vs RSJ clash on riverside in story and there RSJ later meet with Renpa as well (so i think that Dan river clash as in history was this clash in story)

As supplying ration was becoming difficult for Qin they started using court tactics to remove Renpa from war which introduced Zhou Lou (ChouSha). Than Qin also secretly changed there commander with HakuKi which led to Zhao lose and massacre of ChouHei. HakuKi previously was clashing with joint army of Han and Wei while OuKotsu (Qin) was clashing with Renpa (Qin).

But in story OuKotsu lost his life in Chu while Ouki in Bayou. So i think Hara really messed it up.

A collaboration between Renpa, Riboku & Shibashou would be catastrophic towards Qin. Especially given the fact that Renpa and Riboku have already fought against Ousen and Kanki before and would know more about their methods of warfare, and hence their shortcomings. Not to mention that Renpa would be able to bolster the strenght of the Zhao soldiers more than soldiers from Wei or Chu.

It wouldn't necessarily mean that Qin wouldn't be able to take over Zhao but considering that Kanki gets defeated by Riboku regardless it would put them in a more difficult situation.

Riboku is enough to fuck to both kanki and Ousen with ytw
but his king always stap him in his pack.

i say just imagine if he sent kosho earlier to help Riboku in gyou campaign

qin at that time wuould have been wiped out .

so adding renpa nkw will not make qin lose here but will also make Zhao recover its lands and attack qin again
