As the title says, because Imu’s immortality is something that happened after the world government already overthrew the ancient kingdom so there is a chance that even Joy Boy and by extension the Roger pirates are unaware of his existence and there is even a chance that Imu himself wasn’t a significant player during the void century himself and only outlived the other leaders through immortality

Joy Boy theories have a great theory about him which made me think that Imu only rose to power after the WG was already established, yes he was among the 20 kings but not necessarily the most prominent out of them, he just simply outlived them making him the only founder
