The point is base Ruffi being unable to dodge the Thunder Bagua. And thus, he wasn't able to dodge the hakai (in base)

Yes. Pinzoro has canonically outreacted FS Ruffi on several occasions:

• He stopped Batman's arrow from striking Otsuru.
• He warned Ruffi about Apoo's attack
• He intercepted Mama's Heavenly Fire
• He intercepted Crydo's Boro Breath

That said, I don't think reacting to Hakai was a raw speed feat. Hakai was simply far too large (the AOE was too big) for any of them to dodge. I mean we have panels of Ruffi, Pinzoro and Collateral Damage commenting on how insane the attack was. It wasn't that it was too fast for them to react to, but that it was too big for them to get out of the way in time.

Pinzoro holding it back is what gave them the time to avoid it. At least that's the interpretation that makes the most sense to me right now.

It was more than a second though. There where entire monologues between. Midd saying "even ig for just a second" means as much "even if just for a brief moment". That attack would have obliterated any high tier immediately and wasted the SN in the process.

Edit: Other translations even say "moment" instead of second.

I give bravo and feat on Pinzoro's confidence. I respect him trying to stop it, but on physical scale, it's not much on '1 second' on reality as if you put Ruffi and the rest trying to stop it, they probably have few seconds before being push back too.

Moment usually translate to seconds in this series, so again it's hard to use this feat worthy unless we now taking attempts even for a 'moment' means you get feat even if you don't succeed in stopping something. Idk if you guys can push that on scale especially Blackbeard’s bitch stating he would have die if he stay more than that 'moment'.
