Powers & Abilities Ifrit Jambe: How it works and how Sanji's CoA/exoskeleton boosted his level

This chapter implied one thing: The temperature/heat of Sanji's "passion" burns very high. In Ennies Lobby he could have turned up the heat, but his body couldn't take it. So he can turn up the "oven" as high as he wants to and is only limited by his durability.

Let's not forget this is Sanji's first major 1 v. 1 since Jabra, where he invented Diable Jambe. But Diable Jambe was invented when he couldn't even use basic Haki.

Now post-TS with the "exoskeleton" and the "CoA [he's] been training" he can turn up the heat much higher.

So Sanji could ALWAYS turn up the heat (his passion is limitless), even in Ennies Lobby. But he was limited by his durability of the time.

The higher his durability = The hotter his flames

Well Luffy was a CoC specialist that had to train CoA Haki flow before he could use the full power of his CoC!

Yeah, he gets the standard Vinsmoke package, but let's not forget he was already fighting with and without the exoskeleton and it wasn't that much different than before in terms of end result. He needed the new heat to win.

Actually he said the strength and speed increased after he uses Ifrit Leg for the first time, the same happened when he used Diable Jambe for the first time

So the Exoskeleton adds strength and speed, but Ifrit adds even more on top of that, just like Diable Jambe does

Yup. That's why Sanji said that he could have fight even longer, it's just that his legs couldn't withstand the impact (stated in Baratie and Sabaody). And now with his exo and armament, he can withstand the heat and the impact better. Sanji was basically nerfed the whole time.

Funnily enough, I have a theory that Sanji's Ifrit Jambe moves in this chapter are actually blue colored. Then his next and final stage, Surtr Jambe, would be black flames. Just wait for my upcoming thread ^^

It wasn't. You probably think about Sabaody when he kicked the Pacifista, he couldn't handle anymore kicks, not because of DJ but because of the hardness of their steel. Sanji was holding his leg in pain or even broke it when he hit Kuma in the face. The Pacifista have the same steel in them.

Hardness of the steel and DJ both were responsible for sanji saying that he can't keep doing this.. sanji was over exerting his leg by making it cleave through steel.

it was like gear 2.. Luffy couldn't keep using it due to its toll over his body.. but for sanji exerting his leg while using it for a longer period was the problem.. so DJ has some hand in it as well

it just goes back to sanji's leg's limitation he can't imbue hotter flame and can't maintain it for longer as it exerts his leg alot

so maintaining it for longer is hard is true... it took about kicking pacifista 3 times before he said that..

its like he doesn't use Coa for offense at all like zoro and Luffy.. its like his flames are his main arsenal..

but Acoa will be A HUGEE upgrade if he gets it

Based on what? There was never an indication or mentioning of that. He also never had a problem using it against other oponents, but Pacifista, who just like Kuma are made out of that really hard steel.

LOL you really don't think he grunted because he clashed and redirected that massive attack? Sanji had DJ on for longer in EL than at that moment.
