In One Piece, Bloodline tied powers exist. The most common of these is conqueror's haki, which was heavily implied to be bloodline related. Luffy was born with it, and in marineford, it was implied that he inherited it from dragon.
But beyond conqueror's haki, there exist several other confirmed bloodline powers. The first of which is poseidon, which is inherited through Neptune's bloodline. The second of which is the ability to control Zunisha, which is inherited through the Kozuki bloodline.
On the latter two powers. Whereas there are many bloodlines that inherit conqueror's, Poseidon and Zunisha are exclusive to only one bloodline. Furthermore, the ability to control Zunisha is directly tied to Pluton, as it's purpose is to destroy Wano's walls, allowing for Pluton to be released.
And so, all of the confirmed ancient weapons are tied to bloodline powers. Poseidon outright is a bloodline power, whereas a bloodline power is needed in order to unearth pluton. You see where I am going with this.
One cannot ignore the connection between Jaygarcia Saturn and the ancient weapons. Saturn is a name of a roman god; the ancient weapons are named after greek/roman gods. No other characters have such a name, save for Neptune. However Neptune's name directly foreshadows the fact that his bloodline inherits poseidon.
I believe that all of the gorosei are inheritors of extremely powerful bloodline powers, with Imu's bloodline power being the greatest of them all. These powers will trump almost all devil fruit abilities and any haki power we have seen to that point.
However, Luffy himself seems to have a bloodline power of his own. As we go to the EoS, I suspect he will fully unlock this power, allowing him to take on Imu and the gorosei.
