There are at least 4 Gods of the One Piece world, with names similar to the mermaid children: Ichika, Nika, Santa, and Yonka.
In Japanese Ichi = 1, Ni = 2, and San = 3. This is likely the order in which these gods or at least the DF came into being. Looking at Shinto creation myths most of the time the original god is a fusion of Yin/Yang (Light/Dark or Feminine/Masculine principals), which make up the primordial chaos. Light then floats to the top making heaven and dark sinks to the bottom making earth.
Ichika is the Yin/Yang God/Goddess
Nika is the Yang/Light Sun God God
Sanka is the Yin/Dark Darkness God
Blackbeard likely has Hito Hito no Mi Model Darkness God: Sanka, who is in opposition to Luffy’s Sun God Light powers as his main rival
But IMU is something higher than even that, he’s the God who contains both of these powers, light and dark, and therefore fitting as the final enemy beyond Blackbeard.
The evidence for him/her being this god that represents this duality is in the reveal of the Holy Knights who are modeled after the Knights Templar, and order of Gods Knights, also original 9 members, formed to fight good. Though it’s rumored that the Knights Templar actually worshipped the entity Baphomet:
