Theory Imu used an ocean controlling DF to kill the Lunarians

Lunarian defenses are the most hyped in one piece. However these defenses are only strong when a lunarian's flames are up. When their flames are down, they are very much vulnerable.
So then, how were the lunarians eradicated?

What if the weakness to lunarians is water? Lunarian defenses are derived from their flames, as are their offensive abilities. Water would extinguish these flames, taking away their offense, and potentially even negating lunarian defenses.

Therefore, it would make the most sense if the lunarians were eradicated via some sort of water DF. I believe that if such a fruit exists, Imu is the only logical person who could have it.

Nonetheless, this is interesting.
Lunarian was known to life at the top of GrandLine, which is far, far above ocean.

They have wings and maybe, maybe has capability to fly high, but what if their real reason to live that high is because they tried live as far as possible from ocean which is their main weakness?
But that would assume that they have enemy since it is no need to live that far from ocean if they don't have enemy.
There are some "if" here, but I still could see that Lunarian was destroyed via flooding/mass water control.

Or they just was destroyed by some sort of Ancient Weapon.

Water df is interesting but i feel oda wont make imu restricted with water df vit had to be Ancient zoan df .

I suspect hydra that can easily travel inside water. Lunarians probably may have had trouble against it.

Maybe they can't fight properly during a heavy storm because of the rain.Who knows...
