Is Goku A Good Father?

He absolutely is a good father.

He couldn't raise Gohan? Yea cause he fucking DIED to save him and the entire human race.

He chose to stay in the afterworld instead of raising Gohan/Goten? He didn't know Chichi was pregnant + he did it to PROTECT THE EARTH cause he knew problems would arise if he was around.

How is he a bad father seriously? He never abandoned his children and always loved them.

Even when he sent Gohan to fight Cell, he did it because he knew Gohan could win and Gohan had been through SCARIER THINGS, Gohan on Namek experienced a far harder situation than just fighting Cell

I mean, Before all this crises that earth went through goku was always there for his son, And its not like he put him in danger himself, After all the one who made him train and fight for the first time was picollo and not him
and then gohan himself decided to go to namek, Futher more by the time cell came gohan still wanted to help and was strong enough, If he stopped him from fighting they would have possible lost and all died anyways.

So in a way he was a good father for putting his son in danger because ultimately by not putting him in danger would mean earths demise .

More like Chichi is a bad parent, her son could have been one of the strongest characters if not the strongest but the author made him a pussboy, gotta go to college and be mommy's boy instead of saving lives, or even taking Goku's place. Waste of a character.

Goku sending Gohan to fight Cell is fine. Goku giving Cell a senzu bean is insanity and makes Goku a bad father. Gohan should have knocked him out first for that.

t Dragon Ball he’s an amazing Dad.

Piccolo had to explain the nature of goku's son to goku.
Piccolo in the same panel was willing to lay down his life to help gohan when his own father would not and he was worried sick about the sick about the boy when he his father was not.

Not only that but his increased the chances of gohan dying versus cell by giving the bio android a senzu bean which made him recover from the damage that goku gave him.

Overall in the cell fight alone, He risked the life of his son,helped the person trying to kill him and didt even understand the behavioral patterns of his own kid when a alien from a another could. In any universe this would make goku a bad father and the facts just do not present evidence of him being at all good parent
