He seems to be a swordsman, and there is no top tier that uses sword and DF at the same time

Saying Rocks had the Yami is no different from the old theories that Roger had the Gomu, it makes no sense because someone would have mentioned it, Whitebeard knew Rocks and he saw Teach use the Yami and never said anything about it, same with Garp and probably Sengoku.

I believe Rocks was a pirate who uses sword, guns, punches and kicks, a killing machine as Zoro referred to King. Same for Roger and Rayleigh. Now Shanks was a pure Nitoryu-user swordsman before he lost both of his arms.

Considering that 38 years ago Kaido got the DF and that Rocks was crushed at the same time, it's possible he had Kaido's DF...
But if the prisoner in Impel Down is Rocks, that option goes out of the room and Rocks might be DFless swordsman like Roger.

Xebec's jolly roger resembles a red skull with two horns, we know these resemble something about the captains like a skull wearing a strawhat for Luffy, a skull with a scarred left eye for Shanks, a skull with a mustache for WB etc...

So what does a demon have to do with Xebec? From his silhouette he doesn't seem to have horns, it must be hinting towards a mythical Zoan devil fruit.
