Yonkos have a massive territory in the new world, but yeah, they are all silver medalists in a sense, as in they are close to the top but not quite high up there.

Some by choice like Shanks and WB as they definely know how to reach Laugh Tale, and others because they lost and couldnt become PK like Kaido and BM.

Dosent change the fact that they are the pirates with the most powerfull crews currently alive.

Nah it's actually one of the only tangible titles in terms of its usefulness. Being a Yonkou means you rule over a chunk of the seas. The government acknowledges you as one of the 3 great powers, you essentially have free reign over the New World.

Being WSS or honestly even WSM doesn't really mean much in terms of use. Cool you're strong, that's about it.

Yonkos are just those who hold each other in deadlock, neither of them can proceed to their true goal.
Of course they and nobody else wants to be a Yonko. Just heads of large organizations.
It wouldnt surprise me one bit if Buggy advances from a Warlord to a Yonko.

Someone needs to find the panel where Kaido says that he's going to show why he is called the world's strongest creature, World strongest title > Yonko.

Zoro want to be WSS, it's an endgame objective - to be the strongest!
Nobody want to be Yonko there 3 other like you it's a status for failures, or as Papakuzi put it the "losers of bygone era"

From a power level perspective it presumes one is terribly powerful but how much that can very.

A yonko generally is meant to cast fear on people thanks to their rep in the new world, and also meant to possess some territories, but there's not too much more to that. Also their bounty will be particularly high due their influence as Pirates.

Doesnt change what Luffy said. According to Luffy yonko>anyone (including WSS. PK was not included because there was no Pirate King) after Momo bit Kaido while Jinbe said PK>yonko. Both Luffy and Jinbe statements were true.

It fits PK>yonko>WSS. No need to hide behind PK name to downplay yonko when you can't defend that precious WSS title of mIhawk of yours
