Character Discussion Jack the drag down; how do you feel about oda treatment of him

#21
"Defends the writing" WOW WHAT AN APOLOGIST! No, your arguments are just shallow and easy to pick apart bro. You straight up refuse to take into consideration of the guardians and musketeers teamed up this time and went sulong forms in the fight as well as the dukes who went toe to toe with him before.

You see there's this thing call a SULONG form that minks get every full moon that POWERS THEM UP and it so happens they had it on the day of the raid. Take that into consideration as well as the fact both sides teamed up instead of taking turns like before and you can imagine why Jack may have a harder time now when facing 200+ of them. You can call it a stomp even if both sides didn't go unscathed either by the end of it and Jack still got up and ready for action, now that's what I call an all star.
If your gonna call people Oda Apologist for defending his work at least try not be a SPEE D. READER about it.
You keep repeating shit that I already talked about.

so now losing your limbs is considered to be toe to toe ? lmao... the minks LOST:

Jack was trying his best to get them spit out information he did NOT want to murder them.

At least Jack did his job properly.
Lmao how ? Dude lost his eyes and was gonna die meanwhile the dukes look so fresh and they laughed at him... he is truly the drag down.

Once again ignoring context. This happened after the gas was released. They didn't lose it when fighting Jack before that. You can even see it in the panels next to it of the gas that's still in the area. I keep repeating because you keep ignoring these facts and want to try and one up me by proving me right.
Dude lost his eyes and was gonna die meanwhile the dukes look so fresh and they laughed at him
These were the same guys that did this without a sulong form or teaming up

We don’t know when they lost their limbs. It was never mentioned. It doesn’t even matter anyways

for the 100 time I never said they didn’t put a good fight.

They made him lose an eye, they were cutting him everywhere non stop. He couldn’t do shut but just watch them bully and stomp him to the mud. He ALMOST DIED in mere minutes...

What he did to the duke in the other hand ? Nothing
They laughed their asses off without a single scratch making him look like an ant in front of them.

mammoth zoan recovery ? Don’t make me laugh... ussop has far better recovery after getting his skull smashed by ulti or kiku that lost an arm...

Except we do know how they lost their limbs

All of this was in the same chapter YOU pulled up because you wanted to make a case of Oda Apologist defending bad writing with the way Jack is handled in Wano.

Never put words in your mouth in the first place. I brought up how you ignore these context when taking into consideration of the fight up on the rooftop where Jack has to now face both dukes and their forces powered up and fighting alongside each other.

Oda gave Jack a lot of things to do, often enough things that are way above his capabilities. Yet Jack never backed down from an impossible challenge, which led to many "failures" - but that didn't stop him from trying to challenge himself again and again.

He isn't the smartest, he isn't the strongest, but he is one of the most persistent henchmen in the entire series. And I respect that. :goyea:

The non reveal of the hybrid form is Oda's writing fault, since he is keeping them for later, when they will have their "official" vs.
The same happened with several things (Adv CoC wasnt showed in WCI with BM, or some hint with Katakuri, Chopper powerup didnt exist in WCI).

Jack taking L's is not a problem and it not makes look him bad since the L's are against superior enemies (Admirals -> actually here he should have died, but again Oda doing some things which not makes sense, I mean, Fujitora only needed to flip his ship and gg; InuNeko, numerical advantage + he fought an army of minks previously and he was in his worst form while Dukes in their best).

The example of Marco does not make any sense. Marco is individually above King/Queen, so him doing that in one moment of the "fight" with the advantage of his fruit is not something impressive actually. And you can't compare it with Jack who just ended his fights with the minks and the dukes "sneaked" on him suddenly, and he doesnt have here a fake logia body, so it was unavoidable. Totally different situations.

And we don't know the exact situation right now in his fight with Inu, so why bringing up this?

So the treatment is good for who he was, the "little brotther" in the All Stars. It's actually beyond good (since he survived, without any logical explanation, against a gravity user in the sea).
