Jiraiya can probably beat them in Base (especially with his summons), but if not, he definitely whoops them with Sage Mode. Honestly, this is a mismatch.

This is possibly a mismatch. As soon as Jiraiya could get away from a while, in the air using a Bunta and prepare some large scale Jutsu, it will be hard for the 4 man teams because they don't have evading tricks.

But apart from that, j they are complete. Asuma hits hard, Shikamaru harass with shadows, Ino can possess any toad and Choji can finish the opponent. 🏵️

Ino can probably make Jiraiya do some Sanji shit but I think he will bounce back before any serious damage is done to him.

Jiraya hands down sometimes overwhelming strength is superior to intelligence even Shikamaru cant deal with Sage mode power

Is Choji in war arc version? If so, him and Shikamaru might be quite troublesome for Jiraiya. Choji was holding off Gedo Mazo on his own, he can surely take down some of Jiraiya’s summonings by himself.
Sage Mode might not be enough to tank Human Yo-Yo technique. Jiraiya surely will have to go for his higher end techniques to pull off a win, but it is not guaranteed imo.
