Sadly for him he's against the main character, it's bound to happen.

So far the trend for Oda is to have Luffy beat the strongest of each group. Won against Kata and now will win against Kaido all considered the strongest at some point

His Hybrid Form is intimidating but I still expected it to be more fear inducing. Probably I'm used to highter standards hence my opinion is influenced by subjectivity.
