Future Events Kaido won't die

#4
Kaido will be turned into a balloon animal by Luffy, and then he will be paraded around Wano while he is tied up in Sea Stone and unable to do anything about it

Kaido wants to die a cool death, so that means he will be denied his wishes and have to live in the most humiliating way possible
I prefer his undying body being trapped under Onigashima while also mostly submerged in the water.

It ties up the whole "Floating Onigashima" plot a little bit better, has extra mythological context (Wukong), seems slightly more possible than Luffy permanently transforming someone into rubber, and would be similarly humiliating, methinks.

Did something like this happen in Wukong legends?
Or in some ancient japanese myth?

Originally, Wukong was the strongest under the heavens and essentially the main enemy of heaven and a dictator. In a way, he was an existence similar to Kaido.

Before the events of Journey to the West, Buddha beat him and trapped him under an enormous mountain, the 5 phases mountain, which represents the weight of Wukong's responsibility for what he'd done and what he was trying to do.

Of course, what greater representation of the responsibility Kaido has for his evils, than the huge floating Island which he picked up, representing his rule, and which he was going to drop on the capital?

And obviously a mountain alone wont stop Kaido, so adding on to it, to further restrain him as a devil fruit user, and since it's an Island, he should also be partially trapped underwater as well. It would even add significance to the fact that Kaido's Dragon fruit is categorized as a fish.

These threads are not well thought out. Read carefully.

What Kaido wants is a Glorious Death. He doesn't just want to die. a Glorious Death is what he wants.

If the story told us he just wants to die then yes i am 100% Kaido will not die. But no the Story straight out says a Glorious Death

That alone gives Kaido a 50% chance of death.
