Kidd was in a near death state, somehow Meme couldn't kill him while he's having seizures but let's not talk about that.
At some point Law blamed him for his trash performance and Kidd couldn't do anything about it. If his haki was decent one burst would've been enough to free him from vet level hax.

Kidd and Law both have meh haki.They need more extreme diff fights to up their haki game.

When you realize that Law's awakening moves are irrelevant against someone with knowledge, he only bypassed BM's basic haki, anyone with strong enough haki can stop his kroom sword from ever piercing them, it's a DF ability after all.
