Character Discussion Law and Kid are Oda's versions of Sasuke and Vegeta

Both characters are from series highly respected by oda. And imo i think he loosely made the 2 supernova rivals kinda mirror the biggest ones from each series

Kid being similar to vegeta
Law being similar to sasuke

Law is nowhere near Sasuke. He's someone who's putting a lot of his faith and trust into Luffy. Sasuke didn't do that up until chapter 631 for Naruto. Vegeta and Kidd isn't bad I guess.

Only Zoro can be comparable to Vegeta in a few aspects

His obsession for becoming stronger and training is hella similar

His mood also holds some similarities

Setting a power goal also holds some similarities

He likes company more than Vegeta does, in fact I can see other similarities with Mihawk instead that with Zoro

People need to stop with this, nobody in one piece is even somewhat like sasuke. The manga itself can’t function without sasuke. Law/Zoro or whoever else could die this arc, an the story continues.

Yep, if only Kid was more prominent it would be great. But we're far into the story and he's barely of importance now.

I think Zoro is a mix of Piccolo and Vegeta. Not sure about Law.

Too add Zoro from a fighter standpoint would be Rock Lee mixed in with Shikamaru (im reaching on this one, but it's the best i could come up with)

Law has got some resemblances with Android 17 at best.

Personality wise they give off similar vibes at times. What do you think about it?

Maybe some strong perks of each duo overlap yet that is that and more importantly their roles are completely different. Vegeta and Sauce are co protagonists, they somewhat have even a bigger role than current Zoro while Kidd and Law are 2 side characters, Law got a bit of screentime as a SH and even more during Dressrosa and Kidd is getting some now yet even Chopper beats them both combined as panel time and importance for the story goes. Law is already a cheerleader while for Kidd that is just forshadowed for now.

Neither Law or Magneto Kidd has that kind of position.Both can die in Wano and nothing would change on a big scale
