I think they will arguably fail to defeat her but also not be defeated more likely.

Big Mom will probably retreat and head to Elbaf or return to WCI where she will be vanquished by Luffy prominently. I think that would be a very pleasing ending considering LvBM was portrayed since the ancient times of FI and this would strike as a proper completition to such premise.

The portrayal is clear:

Luffy = beats Kaido solo
Law/Kid = beat Big Mom together
Zoro/Sanji = beat King and Queen

And yes Zoro fans, Law/Kid are still above Zoro.

Why? Law can literally bypass her and Kaido's skin. A Gamma Knife will fuck up her insides badly. And Kaido too if he was in his human form (but obviously Oda doesn't want take glory from Luffy).

Not to mention that with weakened insides (Doflamingo, Ulti, Sasaki), it's much easier to crush them after.

I mean to be fair, Luffy will be going 1v1 with a Kaido that is significantly more injured/roughed up than the Big Mom that Law and Kidd are fighting.

I don’t think we’ll be able to confidently say that Luffy could take a clean Kaido 1v1 after this arc.

Worst generation Captain with Conquerers haki, has the portrayal as Luffys rival, and has suffered greatly without his will being broken and has been put in an obvious position for a come back story.

Kidd's crew is too irrelevant. You cant be Luffy's rival with that weak-ass crew.

They almost defeated her already. She was 1 second away from being irrelevant for the rest of the arc.

Surely, just a tease of what's to come by Oda. Law/Kid are equal to her right now. It's not just stalling.

Damn isnt that when Nerfed Zoro almost killed Bigmom if kaido didnt interfere?
