But I believe by putting the pieces of the puzzle together we can get a good idea of Dragons past, future and potentially abilities
Lets discuss what we know and then we can fill in the blanks
38 years ago- God Valley during this time Dragon was 17 years old and he likely was already a member or joined during this time (we know one piece characters can join at 16 because that's how old Coby was
Something happened between this time period and when he formed the freedom fighters with Ivankov
We can also confirm that Akainu already knew he was Dragons sun before Sengoku announced it

Now you can make the argument that its common knowledge among the high ranking Marines, but I'm not 100% convinced
We know Luffy was born 19 years ago and Dragon seems to have formed the freedom fighters before even that in fact we know that he left long before Luffys birth because he was seen post ohara incident already established the freedom fighters
So let's talk about that special connection between Dragon and Akainu
We know Dragon left because he couldn't find true justice meanwhile Akainu has absolute justice, he goes above ans beyond for what he believes is right
These two likely where close at one point but a clash of ideals broke not only the friend ship but Dragons reason for being in the marines as well.
So Akainu knows Dragon, they likely knew each other on a personal level even now Akainu knew Luffy was Dragons son long after Dragon left the marines
Lets talk about what happened during his time in the Freedom Fighters
We know he had spent sometime in Ohara before the incident we know this because he left flowers at Ohara and said that was the camel that broke the camels back we know he already had a connection because of this scene here
He knew Clover which means he was a frequent visitor of Ohara, I also think he was a frequent visitor of a certain whitehaired Robin 👀 but I can make a whole thread about Robin and Luffy being half-siblings
It was after this incident that the freedom fighters became the revolutionary army and really became a powerful force.
At Some point after this incident we know he met a lovely young lady and a few bow chika bow wows later Luffy was born
So who falls into this time period that could possibly be Luffys mom
Imo the characters that makes the most sense is- Tritoma

Lemme tell you why this makes sense
1- She faintly resembles Luffy
2- Hancock falling in love with Luffy could be foreshadowing this reveal
3- Tritoma died of Love sickness because she couldn't see the ones she loved
Dragon couldn't rise his son because he was a revolutionary which means he likely couldn't be his Tritoma either
Tritoma also couldn't see Luffy because of strict laws of men being on Amazon Lily and it seems she didn't have the courage to leave like Shakky and Gloriosa did before her, or perhaps she felt she owed Kuja. Thus she dies of Love sickness
So before we move on let's talk about what we've learned so far

Akainu knew Luffy was Dragons son before Sengoku announced it which hints at possible close relationships between the two even if now fractured
We know he knew clover and had likely visited Ohara many times before, we also know theres a possibility that Robin is the daughter of Dragon (as I said this can be its own thread)
We know after this incident freedom fighters became revolutionary army
We also know potentially Tritoma is the mother of Luffy given all the hints and clues we know
Now that we know at least a good amount of his history let's talk about his potential power
We saw hints of Dragons power 3 times
1st- when he rescued Gray Terminal- a gust of wind came through and put the fire out
2nd- when he resuced Sabo he seemingly floated on water
3rd- potentially he resuced Luffy from Buggy during logue town we know Dragon was there because he saved Luffy from smoker which means that perfectly timed and perfectly aimed lighting strike was caused by Dragon
Its that lighting strike that makes me think he's more than just a wind logia
I see 3 possibilities
1- A mythical zoan the most popular idea is the mythical thunder bird-
The thunderbird is a powerful, bird-like spirit in North American indigenous mythology
2- A Storm Paramecia- paramecia usually have multiple types of abilities compared to basic logia or zoans which both tend to have the small amount of basic abilities
3- a Storm Logia we know Logia are naturally occurring things in nature, which storms are.
One of these 3 are likely Dragons power
