Powers & Abilities Luffy didn't master ruyo compeletly yet.

Oda gave Luffy ruyo as a power up but he still didn't master it completely yet, and so he has still can improve it greatly and is gonna be very important against BB and the next opponents.
as we saw in the last anime episode it seemed that Luffy didn't use ruyo in combination with G4, but even he stated that he will use it in is last attack against Kaido, to avoid melting his hands, which means he didn't use it always against Kaido.
against BB his DF might turn very useless after all so he will have to rely on his haki powers.

I always said that G4 can't use ACoA because it uses already basic armament. And Luffy never showed to know Ryou he went straight forward to ACoA.

Did anime really said that?

By the way Luffy didn't even mastered basic armament. Or it is so weak that doesn't make a difference if he masters ACoA.

it was not said but the extra fiery layer that was always shown when he used ruyo is not there, so you can tell there was no ruyo.

Most likely given that he had acquired the skill only recently . The problem with Haki is that it is almost always in a state of being improved. Jinbei and Katakuri have proven that there are levels to even the normal armament (buso) hardening. So I wouldn't be surprised if Luffy's haki penetration skill continues to improve over the course of the final arcs.

My impression is that he can still empower any kind of haki probably including Coo
