Is X-Drake the reason why Luffy will survive Wano?

When Hawkins said that the probability of a certain man surviving is 1%, i think he was talking about Luffy. I think after this X-Drake wanted to stay undercover and not join the alliance of Luffy because why would he join someone who has 1% chance of surviving. However circumstances changed and X-Drake had no other option but to join Luffy.
After hearing Cobys praise about Luffy, X-Drake began to have hope for Luffy even when Luffy has 1% of survival. Also Hawkins would have joined Luffy if he saw Luffy having high percentage of winning. So hawkins probably wants to secure his position in the crew and stay living.

If it wasn’t luffy the man hawkins was speaking about then why did X-Drake hesitate to join Luffy. Why did he say it was the end for him after getting exposed. Drake still has the fear of getting killed because his percentage of dying is 99% because he is behind luffy. If luffy dies he dies. If drake could have justified himself he would have had higher chance of surviving but he even stated that there could be no justification for his action.

His chances to die depend on how much strain his body still will have

That will be the key factor

A theory says Roger got ill because of the strain his body had to afford during his long journey

19% was at the time when he only arrived, the data is consistently changing so Hawkins needs to make an update on the situation and with that the probability of Luffy surviving is changing too. This is why Hawkins is constantly looking at his cards, checking the constant upbeat based on current data.

For example; in Mareanford Hawkins was constantly updating the data based on the events that were happening, Hawkins specifically says "no matter how many times I check, it never comes out to be Zero" Hawkins is doing the same here.

Hawkins tells Drake about 1% survival ability, but when Who's who comes and sets his trap Hawkins face changes, I'd say that the data changed and Hawkins got surprised what he saw in his cards.

And so what ? Not everybody is a coward as BB to wait for the odds to be with him, years and years of waiting, or like orochi. And we know Luffy won't die, so even if he has less than 1/100 it's pretty much irrelevant as information for the plot. If it's really him that he is talking about, then it's just about symbolism.

More easily if we argue in favor of luffy, then we just have to say that 19/100 is for the whole month. 1/100 is for the day.
so it can makes sense.

luffy has a 99.999999% chance of dying that doesn't make sense because we all know he isn't dead, a redundant and boring episode if luffy is a hawkin says, definitely someone else

Since we all know how absurdly strong Luffy's plot armor is and that he will become the Pirate King a prediction of his chances of survival is completely redundant.

even if he has 0.0000000001% life expectancy no one will actually care since we are all know he will survive.

even if he die he will revive again somehow.

it's actually luffy who will save drake ass not vice versa. luffy is the man who has 5000 ppl on his back. not drake. drake cannot even save himself. if it wasnt for luffy. he will dead on next chapter for sure. marine doesnt give af and wont bother save him. if he get caught, the risk is at his own.that is the risk being spy.

The same in which aspect? Because I don't remember Luffy dying.
You can't compare Law and Iva saving Luffy's life to this.

Luffy is not dying. Wrong series people.

No no ...I am talking about DB....dying won't mean much just like 1% for Luffy...grab dragon balls and revive..

but if it is about Luffy, it's purpose is not about him dying....it could mean two things

1) we as a readers know Luffy is MC but Hawkins doesn't know, so it could be for future setup for Hawkins to switch sides once the survival percentage spikes up
2) It could also mean that alliance will be fucked up very bad....
