Luffy will definitely beat Kaido, they clashed 5 times, and 4 times Luffy lost.

Now that Kaido is washed, bruised and tired, Luffy can't lose, or he will never be able to become the pirate King.

But, beating Kaido does not mean defeating him for good, nor killing him. And we know Luffy never kills his oponents, but Kaido needs to die here and now to open Wano's borders, and to free everyone.

When Kaido will be down, I can see him, after taking a brief break, waking up and trying to destroy the flower capital ( his initial plan was to replace the capital with Onigashima ).

And that's when Zoro will make his move. Luffy will be down, the alliance too, no one will have the AP to bring him down, except the new Ryuma.

Luffy came back with Joyboy's will.
Zoro will come back with Ryuma's will and Oden's too.

Don't forget Oda said Zoan's DF have a proper will, but swords have it too.

Zoro had Shusui and has Enma now, he inherited both Ryuma and Oden's will, so he will definitely kill Kaido, cutting his head above the flower capital, becoming the new king of the blade, and forging a black blade with Enma.

Let the Z-haters talk, ZKK will arrive within 10 chapters.

I see it happening like this personally. Luffy won't kill Kaido / finish him off and thus cause another rampage by him down the line that will be stopped by Zoro. Luffy at this moment is goofing around and having the time of his life, as is Kaido from what we know.

But once it becomes clear to Kaido that Luffy wont kill him? Kaido will lose his shit. Or hell, Luffy might be about to deliver the finishing blow only to run out of steam at the last second. New transformations in Anime are notorious for being unreliable at first after all.

The exact circumstances on how and why it will happen are perhaps not there yet, but I see Luffy defeating Kaido but not killing him, Kaido getting angry over this, and Zoro killing him to stop his rampaged for good. Likely forging a black blade in the process.

First, is Killing an motionless body is honored for a swordman? When another takes kaido down
Second, If kaido wakes up, zoro will have no chance, he even cannot make kaido feet down, let alone killing him
Could be done in a way similar to seppuku I suppose, where Zoro acts as the second to finish off Kaido. Seppuku was done by samurai to have an honourable death plus it was how Zoro started in Wano. Though Kaido likely won't have done it voluntarily.

Not a motionless body, is the actual Luffy a motionless body ? No, same for Kaido, he will try to make a last move in a desperate way and Zoro will interviene.
Like you try so hard to find a way for it happening
Even if this is the case, why is zoro?, There are a lot of people out there in a really better shape than him, having equal or more strength than him. They can totally do thay
If zoro is the chosen one, oda didnot let him recieve more damage and lie unconsciously like that. Oda emphazied zoro is done with this arc

if kaido can keep fighting but luffy can't, than luffy NEVER WON.
thats such crazy logic this is not your story its odas and you have to look at how he views defeat lol oda just had luffy lose to kaido and declared kaido the victor and yet we know luffy will come back to defeat kaido did kaido defeat luffy yes oda views it as such and yet when luffy defeats kaido he will give him the win even if kaido comes back later thats just ur flawed logic lol kaido will get back up because of awakening explained in 544

I don't mind ZKK but the problem lies on how Oda will deliver it without mocking Zoro. If Zoro kills Kaido while he's down, it will shames on Zoro's code of honor, if Zoro kills Kaido in the last moment along with Luffy or right after Luffy, it would make it look like Luffy never defeats his opponent which overshadowed Luffy's achievement which is something that even Oda have to consider.
