I won't be developing much on the subject but base line is, I was in a Morj stream and a user named 'Anarchist Poop' commented (all credits goes to him) how Luffy's bounty is following the reversed pre time skip order.
So here it goes:
30,000,000B x3.33 ~ 100,000,000B
100,000,000B x 3 ~ 300,000,000B
300,000,000B +100k ~ 400,000,000B
This is how it went pre time skip, now after time skip it is going the exact reverse order
400,000,000B + 100k ~ 500,000,000B
500,000,000B x3 ~ 1,500,000,000B
And if it goes in the same pattern
1,500,000,000B x3.33 ~ 5,000,000,000B

So it goes with the ongoing theory that Luffy's next Bounty will be indeed his last one before he finds the One Piece and then goes to war against the WG.
Luffy will be a 5 Billion man after Wano and if you really think about it, there won't be a single crew apart from Blackbeard's maybe closer to the One Piece than the Strawhats and not to mention their enormous growth in power, so it would only make sense!

Used to think it’d be around 3.5bil-ish but I now think it’d be 5bil. Reasons being:
1. Stakes in this arc are even higher than now with the WG making a move.
- Apparently even Lucci who got his ass kicked by Luffy, a member of the WG an organization that has been thoroughly embarrassed by Luffy time & time again doesn’t think it’s possible for Kaido to fall. So if it wasn’t already obvious before, there is a shit ton of emphasis being put on Kaido’s strength. Hell Orochi even used it to threaten Cp0 early on in the arc. So Luffy beating such a monster mano o mano is a big deal.

- Emphasis on Robin’s importance & the WG scrambling to capture her now. The WG are bricking it & can see that shit will hit the fan very soon if they don’t capture her now. We know she will obviously not be captured at least not in any significant capacity so even aside from Luffy’s strength. If he’s able to retain Robin it’d mean he’s very close to One Piece even more so than the rest of the Yonko.

- It’s clear as day that Luffy will beat Kaido & the WG will not be able to put Wano under them. So it’d mean Luffy is able to fend off the WG and embarrass them again even under the current circumstances with tings being highly in their favor.

2. Blackbeard making a move now & Sengoku’s comment about no other pirates other than Roger & WB ever reaching the 5bil mark I think is a foreshadowing that we are gonna be seeing him & Luffy do that very soon. We already know whatever BB is attempting to do is gonna be ridiculous and Luffy will be doing sumin just as mental with his Wano feats.

Luffy took down Cracker and Katakuri but only increase 1B. 2B is a massive jump, BB KILLED WB only jump to 2B also.

What matters is not how much he gets from defeating Kaido but his total bounty after he defeats him. The government won't straight up change his bounty to 4B...3.5 is already yonko tier, seems reasonable imo. He can get another jump in another arc.

I hadn't noticed this pattern yet, but a 5 billion bounty at this point in history would seem exaggerated to me. Unless Luffy's final bounty is 10 billion or something.
