I personally dont like tos mechanics. It really needs heavy changes. The open claiming ruins the basic setup of mafia game.

I have played many game but tos is generally the worst i have seen or played . This is my general critic and Oro jackson's town of salem was generally not good in my opinion We def need some rules so to avoid breaking the basic conduct of the game.

What do you think @Rohan ?

I do agree with you. The mechanics of ToS are trash but there's nothing to be done about it. You can't play ToS without claiming. The design of the game is meant for it. There will always be at least 4 claims because the amount of invest roles and possible results warrant such. Psychic especially demands 3 claims starting D1, so that makes 4 in total. We ain't even talking about LO, invest, sheriff, tracker etc. Now, you also got escorts potentially blocking a mafia killing role, so 2 claims can be made there. The entire purpose of the mayor role is to claim.

Claiming is town of salem. You can't change that.

Understandable i dont think tos will suit me . I prefer no claim game btw .

There are many problems with TOS. I tried giving fixes but they were rejected by the playerbase. My opinion on this is that if you do not like TOS in the current form then do not play it. It is not well suited for a 24 hours game. TOS in turbo game format on the other hand is very entertaining. Playing TOS on the parent site may be a good experience.

In my opinion claiming always ruins a mafia game. It destroys the mystery of the game. However it is important to know that this is a very controversial topic and there is no unified agreement on this.

Make it less open claim its not tough . I know you are the one making mafia rules but as player i was frustrated with people forcing to claim their roles .


General complaint from a concerned player hopefully you guys think about balancing tos .
