When Marco fights king I think that the Marco ~ admirals or Marco > katakuri and smoothie crowd will hopefully stop that nonsense unless they chose to stay delusional like certain fandoms !

smoothie last to be defeated, a yonko flesh and blood and has big mom genes unlike Marco and king... just saying it’s far better portrayal IMO

Marco is ok. He was boasted recently, he was taking on 2 top commanders albeit for a small time, which hypes him to be more probably stronger than King.

And that Big Mom clash which was calculated to be pretty intense AP wise.

no one takes him seriously anymore not even his enemies, he is literally just a living plot device with no motivation at all to be in wano.
i think oda didn't plan to bring him to wano in the first place, hence why the message plot felt cheap.

Marco has to eventually find himself in trouble. Having someone with no stakes in this fight getting most of glory would be pretty shitty writing. If anything he will be use as a way to show of Queen and King later on and then have someone else to finish the job. Right now is the moment to show the value of each crew member. Why these crew should be the one to do the thing that Gol D Roger's couldnt. We know they have potential but if that growth is not continued here then I wouldnt trust Oda on the directio the rest of the series is going.

And no. All the Big Mom pirates agreed already Katakuri was their strongest member ... Oven‚ Brulee‚ Daifuku‚ Mont D'Or.....even to Bege‚ he was the biggest problem at the tea party as Bege himself said. If Smoothie was anything at all‚ those people would have acknowledged her not Katakuri

When he is holding two Yonkoi Commanders alone by himself‚ you can say he below Yonkoi level but higher than a usual Yonkoi First Commander level ( higher than Katakuri )
