Ok so my boy Enji saved Mirko. It made no sense to cut off her character's journey so soon.

Also, Hawks stays one of the 2-3 really interesting characters in the entire series.

Death flags are there and I know Shiggy and Giga are gonna shut this hero shit down real quick soon, but I hope he makes it. Him, Enji and Twice make this manga interesting for me.

Thirst aside, this is the main reason I didn't want her to die so soon. There's a lot more potential character work that could be done with her archetype. Cutting off her arc now would be premature. She's not significant for an emotional death scene....yet
