I think after reading oden journal the life of momonuske’s change in fact theres a chance that after reading the journal momonuske decided to travel with luffy and the strawhats to probably learn about the missing pages of his father journal. Probably one of the reason why he didnt open it its because wano is not ready yet to be open because of Kaido’s reign..

So probably a half and a year of momonuske away from the sea, the new shogun would probably his sister.

If momonuske would travel with luffy! He would learn swordsmanship from one of the best swordsman in the world which is zoro! He would learn how to be a free man and many more acts of kindness to Luffy and also about haki, Momonuske also has the blood of Oden in which Momonuske definetely could obtain the conquerors haki, he also has the same power as kaido! This man has a ultimate potential to be one of the best out there.. what do you guys think?

Plus that dont matter if kozuki clan became the shogun. Since oden made one of his samurai a woman which is kiku, oden also made izou one of his loyal samurai that dress like a woman. That kind of discrimination doesnt work during their era.

One of the reason why izou and kiku likes oden was probably that because oden didnt discriminate them oden accepted them truthfully..

And we forgeting the fact that momonuske is still a kid for me is not ready to rule wano id say the only really one who can really fix thing for now is hiyori because she saw everything during kaido’s reign so she know how to fix it

I think momonuske is kinda like his father, oden didnt let his royal blood or his responsibilities to bind him, he wants to be free. Even though momonuske’s dream is to be a shogun he’s still oden son and the journal missing pages was probably letting oden tell to momonuske that he have to join the strawhats and become stronger to fullfill his father’s dreams which is opening wano if he stayed on wano he wont become strong!
Remember the time he cried because he was weak that he cant even save his retrainers, how the heck you think would happen if he stayed on wano forever? If he stayed on wano i dnt think he will become stronger and he wont even protect anyone which is his potential was massive if he doesnt come with the strawhats its gone forever the red scabbards did their part its now time for momonuske to do his part which is to protect wano and his retrainers by getting stronger
