How come a character that is okay with
- Destroying Fishman island thus killing or missplacing hundreds if not thousands of children while caussing massive destruction
- Murdering Zeff Ice Cold with him doing jack shit to her
- Forcing her own children into marriage they dont want
- Enslaving creatures against their own will in a book
- Being okay with kids being experimented on
- Being totally chill killing Vinsmokes that did absolutely nothing bad to her and in fact were willing to ally themselves with her
- Being more than okay to torture and kill Momo on a cross as a show
- Destroying her own towns with 0 care
- Chastizing her own children
- Raping men, yes raping them. Lets not act that what she did to Pound was okay. It was a clean manipulation and if it was other way around it would be rape
- Abducting children from their fathers

---- How can this character suddenly change in a blink of an eye and talk about morality?

I want someone to help me understand.

First off that is just dumb...she has zero empathy to her own kids whom she see as mere tools for her own agendas but we are supposed to believe she willing to end an alliance with kaido that will help her achieve her dream because some people helped her...how about she first have this empathy for her kids ?

That and also the timing of it is pure gross.

But she was very Vulnerable & Alone & Okobore Town took care of her so she got Angry when she heard what Beasts Pirates did

Last Chapter clearly shows that Big Mom is not a Villain & is most probably the only Yonko who will remain EOS as Queen of her Kingdom. True Villains of One Piece are likes of Kuro & Krieg & BB, the ones who got their Lives Saved & yet they Backstabbed & Betrayed

Vinsmokes welcomed Big Mom with open arms offering their full millitary might in their alliance. They never showed any ill will and in fact they showered her with respect and admiration. She had 0 basis to dislike them or betray them yet she did in cold blood.

That is far from same as Lucky Roo shooting a bandit that threatened Luffy

- destroying Fishman Island is an expectation set by Big Mom's protection. There are not to fail in providing her sweets. This is the exact same thing as destroying the Giants' homeland as a child; if she wants what you have and you no longer have it, you're on the shit list. By the same token, destroying a place that provides her with food puts you on this shit list. Wake up guy.

I can go on about the poor argument being constructed about double standards and the lack of understanding about how what qualifies as a double standard is used deliberately in the story, but if you haven't gotten it yet I guess you won't.

It makes no sense. Don't try to understand it by applying logic because it's impossible.
Oda just wants to make her good/an ally because she is a woman. Women can't be truly evil and all of them have a motherly/caring side about them.

Fishman island provided her the sweats which Lufft ate. It wasnt their fault at all and they even said they will compesate her. She knew Luffy was responsible and she still was adamant about destroying the place with little care about the children or poor there.

She was about to destroy a whole nation just to punish Luffy.

Read Big Mom's flashback again if you don't get why she likes Tama.

Big Mom is what Carmel and Strusen made her by never correcting her when she was violent as a child. She's ultimately an extremely selfish pirate who genuinely believes that if everyone would only listen to her, the world would be a peaceful place. Her dream is to make a peaceful world where everyone can sit at eye level, a mix of the orphanage and Elbaf. She just feels that everyone standing in the way of that dream deserves to be stomped into the mud for refusing to listen to her.

Of course she likes Tama. Why wouldn't she like a little girl (reminiscent of her childhood) who was nice to her and gave her food despite barely having anything herself? Again, Big Mom is selfish. In her view, nice to me = nice person.

I don't especially like Big Mom, I think her being on Wano is probably the biggest mistake of the arc, but the last chapter was one time where the character was entirely consistent. She is not suddenly a good person because she likes Tama, anymore than she is a good person because she wants to make a peaceful world. Big Mom thinks she's a good person, but most people are heroes of their own story.
