I think Endeavour is going to be convinced to stay as the number one hero at least until this entire situation is resolved.
I can easily see something like Endeavour stating that he'll only retire once the league of villains and all the nomu are dealt with. If he quits before that, I think that would be even more devastating for the hero community.

Love the family reunion and Endy being down.
The old samurai n°9 hero was gone during the whole war, we didn't see a single feat from him and he quits after the war : who cares ?
Like the thing about the citizen using their quirks to defend themselves and destroying everything in the process. Destro must be overjoyed.
Stain coming back !!! (obviously n way Stain will come back to be a villain again, the guy will redeemed himself a bit, killing villains here and there during the dark times)
