It’s like people forget Oda’s formula with each new arc. He’s not going to have the characters go all out right away.

So far it has indeed been stalling, but Oda is going to use the characters getting serious as the next stage of the conflict for tension on how the Strawhats will escape.
It’s the perfect scenario to show logia awakening through Kizaru to put the Strawhats on the backfoot while Kuma & the ancient robot enter the picture to enable the escape.

I'm 90% sure Kizaru's going to use his awakening against Luffy, and also 99% sure he'll still lose.
Admiral fans need to accept that their faves aren't gods, no character is a god in this manga, there will always be someone who can at the least stalemate them (not including Sabo Gaimon and Urouge, they're actual gods).

If you are talking about Imu/Gorosei it's just that i dont like to over hype a character because of a badass intro or because they defeated Sabo easily.

If you are talking about Kizaru's around top10 ranking then its pretty obvious that there are many characters that are capable to beat him even tho they are more or less on the same level.
Roger,Primebeard and probably Xebec(we have almost zero info about him) and then we can add in there many characters without specific order such as Sakazuki,Shanks,Mihawk,Kaido, Prime Garp etc etc

Oh you're talking top 1 all time. Thought you meant top 1 alive. That makes more sense, although even then there's just not a big enough gap between top tiers in this verse for Kizaru to be far off even there.

Tbh almost no one has a problem with Kizaru losing as long as it is a fierce fight.

I mean, someone had a problem with Kaido losing or will have one with Teach losing?
