General & Others Oda failed to hype me for Queen vs Sanji...

1)Queen introductionn, sitting down next to the more impressive looking king...

2) in charge of udon, everyone escaped and took over udon

3) bounty reveal, only good hype moment

4) virus in udon, good hype, but not combat hype, just this guy a good scientist hype.

5) same for ice oni. cooking is science, but can't compare the shit vegapunk, cc, judge are dong with the guy that cooks you a meal type of science...

6) queen owned by BM easily while she had amnesia

6) fighting on par with chopper

7)owned by marco

8) non RS kick making him look like a fool

9) queen making jack look like a winner

10) queen making more ridiculous faces then luffy, full on clown.


doflamingo that was a threat ONLY before we moved to yc3+, got 20 years of hype. owned law like he was trash, same for sanji.

queen portrayal is only good in virusology and cyborg tech, but not combat. so why would get hyped.... chopper and franky cover those fields

Oda failed us with all 3 calamities... not only Queen...
The only two people who were PROPERLY had good screentime were Ulti and Pageone AND YET Oda failed in giving them a better conclusion with Nami/Usopp

There is a reason why fans no longer downplay Ulti/Page1 Despite being hinted to be the weakest of the tobi Roppo!

The reason fans do not look down on those two anymore is because the screentime they got has been far better than rest of Robi Roppo or Calamities... they basically got more positive screentime than negative ones

While Oda has been showering us with Negativity with rest of the crew...

This is exactly like Perospero's case... is he stronger than Smoothie? Probably not, but he got so much better screentime that people can sense Perospero doing work and effort compared to Smoothie being a spectator

Similarly, Queen is surely stronger than all flying 6 members, and stronger than Jack... yet he made much more negative screentime than positives... resulting in bad and false build up by Oda

King is similar by the way... he is no different from Queen regarding being a failure with many on screen plots

Oda expects us to automatically be hyped by calamities JUST because they had high bounties... I bet you with everything I got that he thinks that their bounties is ENOUGH for us to to feel Sanji is facing someone stronger than Katakuri

But Oda fails to realize that with Katakuri... He basically made him look invincible and untouchable for the majority of his appearance!

In fact, Oda made Capone say a comment "he will be the biggest headache in tea party" basically placing his efforts > Big Mom herself... even though he's weaker than BM... but it shows you he's so much more effective!

Again, Oda is WRONG because he's counting too heavily on the bounties while we fans want to see great ON-SCREEN showcase from them much more than the bounties

For real...
An example of what I'm saying is recent chapters themselves vs Chopper...

The context of the fight is "Queen was playing with Chopper, laughing at his attacks, and unaffected"

However, on screen, what we saw with our eyes.... is that Queen is fucking slow and was getting body slammed!!!

This is the issue with Oda... he is counting on things that are not being shown on screen!

Toei is likely to make that better like we've seen with other things... but it just is making the manga very awful at this point
