3)Oden has Voice of All Things like Luffy

4) Oden has Charisma to attract allies like Luffy

5)Oden was age 19 when he took over Udon amd defeated Shutenmaru like, Luffy is age 19 right now taking out the Yonko.

6)Oden became Damaiyo at age 20, like Luffy will become Pirate King at age 20.

7) Oden has 9 Scabbards like Luffy has 9 Strawhats.

8) His favorite phrase " It;s too crampd" was said in Dressrossa by Luffy multiple times

9) Chapter 963- Oden is as impulsive as Luffy

Shanks would not give his captain's strawhat to some random boy. Luffy was important from the beginning & wb too recognised him in paramount war & tell his subordinates to lend all support to Luffy. Mihawk recognised his ability of making allies as the strongest. Rayleigh trained "him". I mean Shanks would have not given strawhat to someone else like kid or Hawkins if he met them. Katakuri respects him & believes one day he would help defeat his mother.

Only Luffy can.

Yes one piece suffers with forced parallels.
Only thing same with them is kings haki which every yonko has which is why they have allies. Just like Luffy has grand fleet, whitebeard too had large fleet of allied pirates.

The point of this thread is to show you how special Luffy is compared to Oden and Roger.

He has most of the traits of Oden, Roger and Garp in 1 person, which is why he did not die such a horrible death.
