Powers & Abilities Ok, Zoro has CoC. What happened on the roof then?

What happened with Kaido and Asura?

asura just being a form of CoC seems pretty clear to me. people forget everything rayleigh said, but its a fact. in one piece, manifesting your spirit in a visible form = conquerors haki. zoro has been doing this for a long time.

its also likely that this is the explanation for sanji's fire powers, because just like the asura is a mythological god like being and zoro represents the asura in all aspects of his character. asuras are those on a path of buddhism where instead of rejecting material desires they embrace them and take on the unwholesome karma purposefully. zoro's arrogance, drinking, sleeping, rudeness, bloodlust, etc are all qualities of the asura.

so the japanese god of fire and cooking Sambo-Kojin is represented in Sanji. The god of fire's birth caused his mother's death, he's all about protection of the family and home, hes the god of cooking, he's represented as both a male and a female, etc.

chinjao going super saiyan is inspired by caishen/zhao gong ming, the chinese martial god of wealth. a lot of conquerors have references to mythology and the gods, like Kid and Tyr, or Big Mom and Grýla or Hariti. all of which makes roger's "kamusari" move cooler to me, because he's only embodying himself and "avoiding the gods"
