With Kaido, Luffy has no Haki to protect himself but is still tanking serious blows from Kaido as indicated by the lightning effects of Luffy tanking Kaido, as well as the fact that we see building-levels of destruction on the roof, and we know building level is the max damage output of Big Mom and Kaido since they fought for two days but still couldn’t destroy the room they were standing in. In other words, defenseless Luffy is tanking them at their full strength and he isn’t even using Haki.

Nah, Kuriel obviously wasn't using Haki while lying on the floor under pain. As Ivankov wasn't. And black lightning isn't an indicator for Kaido using higher end moves, it's the usual visual style to display strong impact. Doesn't mean Kaido throws attacks nearly on the level of thunder Bagua. We know even Kaido's second Bagua that was partially evaded by Luffy, hit him hard and had him lying on the floor.

We also know the extend of Kuriel's injuries:


He doesn't even have bandages, lol. Claiming base Luffy tanks Hybrid Kaido's Thunder Bagua level moves is the same as those down playing Akainu for not doing much to either Kuriel nor Ivankov.
