Actually, it kinda is.
If the author can't pick a single animal to represent a character, and needs to resort to multiple animals depending on what he's feeling that day, just to create some mid tier parallels so people can think he's some "genius", then yeah, I have a problem.
Oh yay, I wonder what third animals are gonna represent each straw hat.
Can't wait until each of them have an entire zodiac of animals representing them.
F-U-N.
When Zoro fights Mihawk, which animal is he gonna be?

My money is on "Crow" because black bird = black blade.
:kata:
That’s entire bullshit lol. But it is what it is.

You have all the right to think sanji is the goat but his animal is a sheep and not a goat, they're similar but not the same animal.
The difference between a Sheep and a Goat :risicheck:

While both hail from the subfamily Caprinae, sheep and goats diverge at the genus level and arrive as distinct species. Sheep (Ovis aries) have 54 chromosomes; goats (Capra aegagrus hircus) have 60. Sheep–goat hybrids – yes, a geep or shoat – do exist, but they are rare.

A main difference between the two is how they forage. Sheep are grazers; they ramble slowly eating short plants close to the ground. Goats are browsers; they look for leaves, twigs, vines, and shrubs. And their agility allows them to attain charming positions in pursuit of their forage.

:risicheck:

Because they browse, goats spend a lot of time investigating things. They are forever nibbling on and eating things,” Cathy Dwyer, a professor at Scotland's Rural College, tells NPR. “So they have more exploratory, investigate behavior because of their feeding style. They appear to be more interactive with the environment, and they are very engaging animals.”

Because of a goat’s natural curiosity and independence, they can tend to get into more trouble than sheep. Sheep are, yes, sheepish. They have a very strong flocking instinct and become agitated when separated from their posse.

Some goats have beards, sheep don’t. But some sheep have manes. Sheep have an upper lip that is divided by a distinct philtrum, goats don’t.
Most goats have horns (especilly big horns), many sheep, but not all, are naturally without horns.

Zoro has explicitly stated multiple times that they are leaving Kaido to Luffy guys lol.

Parallels do not imply who Zoro "has" to fight.
That was before Luffy lost. Situation has changed- he needs to rush to Kaido who is after Momo, because his captain is out of fight and Kaido is running loose.

Zoro also said that he's after Kaido before.

Luffy also said he'll defeat Kaido, only to lose right after.

Scabbards also said they got it. They lost.

Luffy was also allowing Scabbards to take on Kaido. He ended up joining.

Let's look at the actual build-up, portrayal and path of story instead of "He said he'll leave it to Luffy during a completely different situation, so that's what's going to happen."

That is not how story writing works. Oda is creating a great fiction, not a child's book lol
