Marco isn't someone you can just beat fast regardless of rank, yet he still went down at the same time as Jozu with kairouseki, because both of them were distracted, so not much of a difference.
Regardless, as you say, Marineford has bad scaling, which is why I didn't bring up Marco, but Rayleigh and Whitebeard.

Beating King and Queen is impressive (Weevil isn't, that thing can't be taken seriously yet), but pissing himself over Shanks' haki is bad portrayal. I get that Shanks having his crew there was part of why he would choose not to fight, but it's not part of why he was shaking and sweating.

So he's still the admiral with the worst portrayal.

He pissed himself over shanks’ haki as much as Kaido did over luffys. He didn’t expect it so the haki blast caught him off guard. (Straight up Kaido also shook and sweat afterwards)

Notice how the next thing he did was assess that it wasn’t just shanks but his entire crew, then even said he wasn’t ready to take on the entire crew? It’s clear that the only reason Ryo left was because he couldn’t take on an entire yonko crew after the alliance.

And cmon, Fujis current portrayal is canonically the worst. Until oda focuses on him more, he has the worst showing and worst fruit

Only Retærds use 2009 Marineford, as powerscaling, didn't Oda say recently Akainu has the most offensively powerful fruit, but he was getting blocked by pretimeskip Jinbei. Nothing in Marineford makes sense & you know Whitebeard would have much better feats today.
