it began in 1108, 9 chapters ago or 4 months ago. And really the only thing we learned was “the world will sink”, the rest was just restating the obvious with dozens of panels of shocked faces.

prime example of very poor pacing. Pre-ts, Oda wouldn’t have wasted time restating things he’s already revealed, the lore dumps were typically substantial reveals in their own right.

but what gets me the most is how incompetent Vegapunk has been throughout, calling him a dumb person’s idea of a smart person is too charitable.
