You don't use the manga, which is black & white, to confirm the color of something. I can't actually believe this needs to be said.
It could very well be a black blade but the only time you'll get the actual official color is when Oda colors it himself.
Even the official colored volumes(made by colorists) have been wrong at times. Big Examples being Gaban & Jupiter having blonde hair in colored volumes while in actuality, Oda later on confirmed their hair to be gray.
Even recently, people were saying Loki's weapon was black & potentially a "black hammer" only for Oda to confirm it to be grey.
So, if you want the actual official coloring, 100% verified, then only Oda can do that.

And sure, that only is probably going to end this debate.
However, in this manga we saw only two different colours of swords: White and black. Ryo's Is black and looks exaclty as any other black balde we have seen:
Why are we supposing Ryo's Is some imaginary colour never used for swords?
Not to mention, Oda himselef said to look at VCs for canon information and that's what VCs showed:

Reminder these are the same hypocritical clowns that were downplaying Green Bull for attacking King and Queen, and making excuses like how King and Queen were handcuffed and still recovering from their injuries, when in reality they were never handcuffed and they already had two weeks of recovery.
Meanwhile they are downplaying Loki for falling unconscious after Luffy punched him, when we know that Loki was chained up for six years and couldn't defend himself when he was severely injured by Shamrock and Gunko.
