Lord Kuri makes his haters so mad, users like @Sir Yasheen have to come up with lies how Lord Kuri used Power Mochi on Ichiji.
@mly90 is still twerking to Lord Kuri being a real conqueror unlike the guy named "King" ending up with nothing.
The WG or other Yonko didn't even dare to attack Big Mom's territory when she was present and we know how weak she is as a top tier. BB only started attacking Tottoland after Big Mom was gone but I don't see anyone call her "top 1" lol.
The WG are freaking busted with the CP0, Holy Knights and Gorosei (still weaker force than the admirals, just facts) and you'd be insane to believe they wouldn't use Kaido and his entire territory to wipe their asses.

Shiryu was already so strong and oozing portrayal pre timeskip, he really didn’t need a combat Devil fruit. Magellan had multiple Warlords and Ivankov shitting their pants in fear over him, and the Level 6 Prisoners also feared Magellan. Magellan negged the same Teach who defeated Ace in one shot:
And Shiryu was an equivalent or greater threat than Magellan before he even ate a fruit lol.
