Anything modernized kills it.
Look at Trigun. Old Trigun was hoaky but felt shounen.

...New Trigun they've turned Vash into a fruitcake 'babygirl.'

All shounen modernized go through this weird feminization process as of late. OP does not need that.

Kanjuro's death was handled well, love the effects on the Kazenbo.

Kinemon's fake out death is still stupid, but, at least it didn't take too long.

Need more Raizo and Fukurokuju, though.

I like the little moments with Luffy and Kaido they're adding in, even when they're not canon to the manga. Oda probably would have drawn in a lot of them if he had the time.
