It's frustrating that some fans and even Shueisha seem to praise teh extended length of One Piece. ..my issue isn't with the manga's length per se, but with the lack of substance in many chapters. Why does it need to take over 50 chapters for the Straw Hats to simply escape Egghead? The pacing feels unnecessarily slow and often uninformative, which dampens the enjoyment of the story...

We've passed the 60 chapter mark (soon 2 years in real life time) on Egghead by now.

Yet some people still think it will end in the next 3 years or so.

I stand by my prediction: Not earlier than 2030.
