That makes no sense, you know that. Hawkins had deep respect about kid and killer, how he talked with law about them. He also instantly knew he had no chance if kid would stand in front of him instead of killer.

There's definitely nothing that ''heavily implies'' Kid had a performance that could be described as anything more than ''better than Hawkins ever could'', the triple supernova alliance had 0% chance against Kaido but Hawkins said he would have bad or low odds facing against Kid and Killer together.
