Eventually Kaido stopped thinking.

Him becoming immortalised as a statue would be fucking badass, brutal, poetic and ironic.

It has ti be in his dragon form I guess then?

Or he gonna die standing like Whitebeard and form the statue that way?

That almost happened to Nami, Zoro and was it Vivi at Little Garden?
I've been arguing this exact thing on twitter for a while. Him dying by turning into a statue would be AMAZING.

- It makes a lot of sense. Probably the most out of every conclusion I’ve seen.
- People were talking about how seastone is irrelevant in the arc even tho the island is its supposed origin. This totally changes it.
- It’s a great callback to Skypiea and shows how Oda pays attention to his details.
- Kaido will kinda become eternal like a legend through a statue although he dies. References the Buddhist monks which became stone while meditating.
- Pretty metaphorical too because Wano itself ‘killed’ Kaido, the land he has mistreated for decades
