Some of underrated Luffy moments I like, Luffy has always been serious about being a pirate and keeps his life on his sleeves, He lives for the moment. He is not tied by the past or what ifs. In his own words he likes leaving things to the chance while still pursuing his dream, That is the true definition of being a free pirate for him.

1) Luffy is more open to alliances with other pirates than he was pre skip.....alliance with Law, alliance with Bege is more proof of that.....

2) He isn't willing to risk his life for someone when that someone isn't willing to put his life (hence Luffy asked Momonuske to say directly to him instead of his retainers in Zou)

3) Luffy grabs Katakuri and throw himself into mirror world along with him which gives strawhats to escape from immediate danger and boosted his nakama morale eventhough he is not doing fine against Katakuri....and this is especially immediately after the death of Pedro....

4) Reread chapter 949...it literally showcases how matured Luffy as a leader......and Luffy is different in wano though not much like straight away telling Ace is dead without any bullshit, sharing food with people (like when did he ever share his food with others, lol...)

I need not to tell about pre TS.....

Luffy is mature since the beginning.....sure he goofs around and all, but that is just part of his character but he is dead serious when situation calls for it....

you are talking about Ace situation.....you people completely "misread" the situation.....that sent only one message to Luffy and readers that "he was not strong for new world".....even Luffy lost his confidence because he felt he was not "strong enough"......

He’ll ignore this lmao.

1) What are you talking to me about? Luffy didn't even know what an alliance was, and is still being silly asking law if he was going to betray him.

2) It's not a development, Luffy has always been like this from the start (Nami, Robin, ...)

3) Luffy has always wanted to protect his friends even if it means keeping them away from the enemy, it's not the first time he's done it

4) This is to be the only time Oda really showed a development of his main character, otherwise it's still the same and even like that 30 chapters later he becomes stupid and "screw up" the infiltration

you mean calling an 8 year a coward because he is afraid of the World's Strongest Creature that killed his parents, which one of them was one of the Strongest Samurai in Wano, is a mature thing to do?
But they are in war right...?....there is no time to pamper some young brat in the middle of the war just cause he lost his parents....sorry but just because Luffy doesn't mince his words doesn't mean it is "immature"....lol.....
