I don't think those Hot Characters of the day reflect the Characters most voted that Day
I think they are the Characters who saw a great increase compared to the previous count/total votes

For example, let's say Zoro & Luffy got 1000 Votes yesterday & today they are at 100 Votes
On the other hand, let's say Gaimon got 5 Votes yesterday & 70 Votes today

Obviously Zoro & Luffy have more Daily & Total Votes than Gaimon but the Latter is the Hot Character of the Day due to high new interest in him & huge difference in Votes

The Admirals (we still don't know about Green Bull) have AOE damage. If they fight on a random island with no people on it.... the admirals would go crazy. Kizaru can fly and Fujitora can fly too, Akainu would go crazy on the ground.
