it goes against everything:

1. New Gen leading the new era , that's the whole point why they didn't lose in wano . Oda forced that narration
2. Why have his fleet & Giants if Shanks could do it alone all along? Pointless then
3. Kid losing easily 1v1 to top tier after "winning" 2v1 doesn't help the story. No matter what.

2. Shanks is a pirate. He goes everywhere with his fleet. Also, we don't know if it's just Shanks. It could be a combined attack from Giants + Shanks. But that's beside the point. Shanks is always with his fleet, he has a pirate crew. That's like saying if Luffy can beat his opponent 1 vs 1, what's the point of him going around with his crew.
3. Kidd losing 1 vs 1 to a fucking Yonko makes sense, since he only beat BM 2 vs 1. How does that not add up to you?
