Today we will be discussing the Revolutionary Army better yet the relationship between Bortholomew Kuma and Emporio Ivankov.
From Dr. Vegapunk we get a revelation that it was Kuma, Iva and Dragon who all formed the Revolutionary Army together now it's hard to say if they were all working together under the Freedom Fighter umbrella as well that Drago had previously ran but it's safe to assume. RA formed 23 years ago - one year after the Ohara incident which would place the creation 15 years after God Valley. I won't speculate what happens between this time at least not here in the OP.
Now with the latest chapter we get to understand Kuma's story a little more from the backstory panels that I hope we continue to receive. In the latest chapter we see not only Kuma but Ivankov is also a former Slave tot he Tenryuubito and meet on God Valley alongside a new face in Jinny. I was thinking to myself that since Iva was essentially Kumas first true friend outside of his parents their bond and relationship is one of the oldest and strongest similar to ASL or Killer and Kidd and that is heartbreaking as we saw how the death of Ace impacted SL and how Killer in Wano affected Kidd. Given we have Ivankov being imprisoned for x-amount of years he didn't have any contact with the outside world and he finally comes across his bestfriend Kuma during the Paramount War now unfortunately for Iva it isn't the reunion he had expected it to be in fact he is shocked and infuriated at the fact that he has become a lapdog for the World Government whom Kuma despises. He comes across this info from Joker while not even Joker is aware that Kuma is apart of the RA, goes to show how well he has been playing the role of being a double agent.
From everything we know so far I was wondering if anyone else thought how much of a strain and heartbreak that was for Iva to not only witness in person but also having to fight him in a real brawl that took a lot from both sides. Add in the recent events of Kuma becoming a slave once again and the RA directly attacking Mariejois with the purpose of freeing Kuma directly led by Sabo and the 4 commanders. Shortly after Kumas return home to RA he has no memory and is lifeless a cog moving on its own took off to Mariejois to simply fly off again, now it's safe to assume he is on the way to Egghead as it's the most logical but how do you all believe or think Ivankov in particular will handle this as Sabos "death" was already a huge loss and issue for them how do you believe the Revs and Iva take a possible death of Kuma a Founder and Leader and Bestfriend to Revs? How would the Revs actually respond to the death of Kuma? Will this be the next catalyst to propel Dragon and the Revs from finally making their move and War against the World Government?
