Theory Sanji needs to become King of Germa

In WCI, one point that was highlighted was that Sanji was the best of the vinsmokes.

Judge is evil, the brothers are psychopaths, and Reiju was complicit in Judge’s actions.

Out of all of them, Sanji was the most moral person. He is also the strongest, evident by him defeating Judge’s rival: Queen.

This means that Sanji is the most fit out of all his family to be king of Germa.

Between Imu, Xebec, and Roger, all of them have numerous conquerors working under them. This means that Sanji will most likely need to become a conqueror for Luffy to surpass those three.

My guess is that Sanji’s path to being a conqueror is tied to him becoming King of Germa.

One possible way Oda could do this:
  • The BBP conquer Germa, Pizarro kills Judge and makes himself king of Germa
  • Pizarro is brutal and abuses the people of Germa. Treats them worse than Judge, somehow.
  • Sanji awakens conquerors, beats Pizarro, and saves his people.
  • Sanji subsequently becomes king of Germa and turns the country into a giant restaurant

It's a cool concept for Sanji, but he'd probably just hand over the reins to someone else if it happened.

I can't really see him sticking around or doing the restaurant thing tbh.

Plus this feels like it would need a whole dedicated storyline/arc for Sanji. Do you think the SHs vs BBP would play out that way? Each SH fighting their BBP opponent independently?

I would say if he rules Germs he would bring emotion back in his brothers . I honestly think think he will undo whatever his father did as an experiment and bring changes in Germa.

I honestly however don’t see that happening one of the prime reason is it was the place Sanji felt mistreated and subject of outcast . He would be disgusted if Judge had change of heart and asked him to be king . I don’t think Judge will ever accept Sanji and he will think of him as failure .

Sanji could and perhaps should end up like a good version of Big Mom, having lots of children by one or multiple women, all whom actually adore him.

imo Sanji is the most ideal king in One Piece. A king that governs with empathy and kindness as a guiding principle. A kingdom based on giving, not taking as his Germa ancestors did.

I'd like to think he'll convert the Germa Kingdom into a giant floating restaurant that feeds all comers, whether they can afford to or not.

If he settles down with Pudding, it'd be hilarious to see a reformed Katakuri as his pastry chef. That those two might end up brothers in law is crazy to think about.
