A few folks suggest me to create a thread about Sanji’s potential haki upgrade. So today I will talk about CoO and why Sanji will get his own unique type of CoO that no other characters can get. Let’s get started.

So as y’all might already know, 90% of folks wants Sanji to have Future Sight which is the common notion since FS is the most popular form of Adv CoO out there. Some wants Sanji to have island/country level sensory CoO, some wants Sanji to have CoO that interpret the intentions or emotions of other characters. A few wants Sanji to have CoO that can completely hides his presence (meaning no other CoO specialists can sense Sanji’s presence). Some other few people wants Sanji to have “mirage” type CoO that can create illusions of Sanji to mess up the enemies’ senses. Etc etc.

Now if you ask me about my own interpretation of Sanji’s future CoO upgrade though?

Now, the ability to rewind time perception itself is not really a big deal but what’s overpowered is the fact that you can rewind reality itself. For example, Yoshikage Kira’s Bites The Dust and Giorno Giovanna’s Golden Experience Requiem from JoJo.

If Sanji were to make mistakes, he can just rewind time and fix it. I don’t know what’s the limitation of this ability (let’s say, Sanji can only uses this ability 3 times or Sanji’s body will get destroyed the more he uses this power or he can go back in time for like a minute or so).

Sanji can probably make use of this ability to get intels from enemies and such (like the first gif that I showed above). And if the theory of Greenbull having a time fruit is true, then Sanji’s about to transcend time itself.

Can’t wait in 2027 where my theory come true.

I mean I guess lol. Haki is still a mysterious power so it works both ways. But since Oda retconned Luffy’s fruit into Toon Force that can break the 4th wall, won’t be surprised if Oda come up with wacky ass shit for Haki Lmao.

I am not against it, but how does CoO even affect time? This theory depends too much on Oda retconning the concept of Haki, imo.

I think it's still more reasonable for Cook to eventually have FS. I mean, why not? It fits him.

Time warp is too hax lol, I would only expect that ability for someone like Im-sama and even that sounds too absurd.

CoO only affects the user's perception like sensing others or seeing the future.
One interesting use that would fit Sanji's stealth role could be the ability to see past events through Haki signatures or something like that. However since this role almost disappeared I dunno it's useful at this moment of story.

How about "timeline branch riding"? Sanji enters a state of trance to see not just the future, but variations of possible futures ahead of time. He can choose to mentally ride along (mentally experience) a few branches of future at once with his Observation until he know the results (if he ride multiple timelines at once) of an important event he experience in the present. He can then choose to "hop off" that future and finally choose the best course of actions to create the best future of his choosing.

The side effect of this, that it's so exhausting for the brain, since his Observation will give perception of progressing multiple timelines at once so Sanji must save this ability only for extremely important / decisive moments, since his decision can flip the tides of war or battle.

Tldr yeah i predict Sanji will master the riding of branched advanced FS :cheers:so that he can "rewind the past" without actually rewinding the past, but instead by riding the future timelines
