In mankind’s first great civilization there was a king whose legend would live on for millenia, ruled by the one and only King of Heroes, Gilgamesh himself.
60 years have passed since King Gilgamesh defeated the Evil God Druaga, but for a mysterious reason the Tower has reappeared. Legend has it that whoever defeats Druaga may have a wish fulfilled. Many brave adventurers wish to conquer the tower in order to gain the Crystal Rod which is said to grant whoever gets their hands on it, one wish. Any wish. An omnipotent item that can do anything. Gilgamesh is made of the stuff of legends, but surely there are others who could become the next legendary hero?
Gilgamesh is solely focusing on his duty as a king and will not set out to conquer the tower again, he may be still alive but he’s growing old and he’s not in a condition to fight the evil monsters who roam the tower and bring chaos to the world.
This time of year is referred to as the Summer of Anu, it is the time when the monsters of the tower are greatly weakened, and it’s a great opportunity for the brave heroes to venture forth in hopes of defeating the menace, Druaga. There are Artifacts of great powers hiding within the towers which will surely aid the heroes in their free for all battle to the top! Many unexpected things and events are also sure to happen, so be on your toes! This tower holds many traps and dangers for whoever is brave- or stupid enough to try climbing it!​


In the tower you will find a whole slew of items that will spice up your everyday, as it stands there are 30 unique artifacts with differing powers you may find around in the tower by Climbing it or by events that occur at the start of each day!

Gamestyle -

    • Traditional Setup - This game will prominently feature an uninformed majority against an informed minority.
    • Closed Setup - No information about the setup will be available before the end of the game.
    • Closed Communication - After reception of their role PM, players will not be allowed to discuss it outside of the game thread or during Night phases, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs.
    • Open Claiming - This game will feature restrictions on neither role claiming nor character claiming, except as specifically dictated in individual Role PMs. That being said, I heavily advise against it.
    • Day Start - This game will begin with a Day phase. Day 1 will last 48 hours
    • Plurality Lynch - The player with the most votes at the end of the Day phase will get lynched. In the event of a tie, one of the tied players will get lynched at random. No-lynch is an option. In the latter stages of the game, a hammer option will be available to the players if accepted.
    • Quasi-Dusk - In this game, each Day phase will officially end as soon as the 48/24 hours deadline is reached. A Dusk phase will not be officially recognized, and players may continue discussing in the game thread until the next Night phase begins, however day actions and voting sent after the Day phase has ended but before the next Night phase has begun will be ignored. This also applies for the transition from night to day, as I will need to write a start of day write up.
    • Phase Length - The game is divided into cycles. Each cycle consist of 2 phases, a day phase and a night phase. Each phase will last 24 hours, with the exception of the first 2 day phases. If you do not post or send an action within the time limit, we reserve the right to replace you.
Rules -

    • Do not, under any circumstances, reveal any information to any player regarding this game if you are no longer alive.
    • Do not quote Private Messages from us; paraphrase. And no, replacing second-person pronouns with first-person pronouns does not count as paraphrasing.
    • Do not edit your posts; double post if necessary. Failure to comply will results in severe punishment. If a player is abusing this rule, they will be mod-killed. Take this as your only warning.
    • Vote towards a lynch by typing Vote lynch <name>, where <name> is the name of the player you are voting for. You do not need to type Unvote, or [Change] alongside a newer vote. We will always accept votes even with a wrong format, however it is not our responsibility if we miss them by mistake. Failure to vote results in nothing but shame.
    • You must post at least 5 times per day phase. Failure to comply will result in a warning and a mod-block at the first offence. A second failure will result in a forced substitution or mod-kill. If you think you might not be able to meet the requirement at any given phase, let us know in advance and you will not be affected by the repercussions. Note that posts made for the sole purpose of meeting this requirement will not be considered.
    • If you believe that we have made a mistake, please address the issue with us via Private message. This goes for questions to the hosts as well, anything addressing the hosts should be sent through role PMs. Save any other comments for after the game.
Gameplay -

    • This game will be working on a health system, so there will be no kill abilities, instead there are damaging abilities. This means there are no levels of attack, but rather power of attacks. Attacks that deal 5 damage are ultimate attacks that cannot be protected against. Lynches will instakill any player from any alignment, this does not however mean there are individual roles which may have protections against them.
    • Most actions will receive write-ups, some will not. Attacks will always appear in the write-up. Alignments colors will not be revealed in an action write-up.
    • Abilities with limited use are expended upon activation. For example, a one shot can not be used a second time even if the ability failed.
    • Actions are processed at the end of the night with priority given to certain abilities. During the day, actions are processed immediately using a time-stamp. They may not appear immediately in a public write-up as we prefer to wait for a bulk of actions for public write-ups.
    • Every role possesses at least one active ability per cycle. There is no limit on active abilities performed per role per phase, unless specified in your role PM. However, an ability (limited and unlimited use) can only be used once per cycle, unless specified otherwise.

Floors -
Each phase a player/ group of players may choose to proceed to the next floor at the end of each cycle. When a player/ group of players have reached a new floor they will have unlocked easy access to it via an elevator and can freely move between the floors up to the highest floor you’ve visited.

Every player starts at this location -
- Meskia, the City in the Tower - If a player with an artifact dies, Events may take place here to retrieve the fallen’s artifacts. Players who are in this floor may also trade artifacts if both parties consent.

The locations in the game are as follows -
- Meskia, the City in the Tower
- The floor of Lead (鉛)
- The Floor of Bronze (青銅)
- The Floor of Silver (白銀)
- The floor of Diamond (金剛)
- The Floor of Sky (天空)

Each floor will have their own merits and demerits for being on them, however it is advised to climb as there will be items to be gained, and if you're late to the climb there may be little items for you!

The information of each floor will be revealed as soon as a group has reached that floor.

In order to have a better chance of survival in the climb, the Heroes will create their own group that they will climb the tower with.

Parties -
At the start of the game, all of the players who wish to become a party leader will PM the host, and after the deadline has passed, up to 4 party leaders will be chosen by RNG.

Then when the party leaders have been chosen, a separate thread will be created where the Party Leaders will choose their members. First Party Leader 1 chooses a player, then Party Leader 2- and so on, till all players have been chosen.

The Parties may then decide on their Party Name.

After the parties have been initially picked, players may choose to join other parties so long the party in question accepts it.
However changing parties require both parties to be present on the same floor, as well as having been agreed on mutually.
In the party chat the players may vote yes or no, and the majority wins. If it’s a draw it will count as not agreeing.

The Tower Climbing -
In order to climb the tower one must be in a party of minimum 3 players, and must spend 1 cycle on the highest floor they are able to visit. The party leader will tell the host that they wish to climb, and after 1 cycle has passed they will be moved up a floor.

Events -
At the start of day 2 and every DP onwards, there will be at least 1 event put out by King Gilgamesh. Some events are exclusively done within 1 group, some are public events that everyone can participate in. All events will reward 1 artifact if they are completed.

Discovered Floors​

The floor of Lead (鉛) - In the floor of Lead there is a safe hub where people gather and usually use as their gathering place.
Merit: Since there are a lot of people here, your first action made will have its Write Up name janitored. Only works once.
Demerit: None


- The Floor of Bronze (青銅) -

Merit: Upon reaching the floor of Bronze you may gain 0.5 votepower, but you are starting to feel the exhaustion of the climb. In every post while you are here you must write “Water.. I need water..”. If one fails to adhere to the PR they will lose 0.5 votepower.


- The Floor of Silver (白銀) -

In the floor of silver is the infamous mirage forest. Players will sometimes be misled by illusions, their actions may not always find their true target.

If a player wants to do an action while on the floor the host will roll a dice from 1- 2 and if the dice lands on 2 the action will go through, if 1 the action will hit a random target.

Likewise if someone wants to target someone who is on the floor of silver they will have a chance of the action failing completely, and if the host rolls a 1 they will take 1 damage.


- The floor of Diamond (金剛) -

Upon reaching the floor of diamond the player may choose to upgrade one of their abilities, however you may not use the ability you are upgrading or vote for that day phase you are here. You can only visit here once.


- The Floor of Sky (天空) -

While at the Floor of Sky you are intensely focused on defeating Druaga. You may choose to spend 1 whole cycle here to defeat Druaga, at the end of the cycle something will happen.

Visits after the fall of Druaga will allow you to change your Writeup Name, however as a demerit you will lose 1 health at the end of each phase you are in here.


- The Mythical Tower -

While in the Mythical Tower you will be unable to be targeted, or target anyone who is not inside the mythical tower. You will also regenerate half of your maximum HP and the event party leader will gain the Forbidden Item (#8) which grants the player 1 wish.

The Summer of Anu has dawned upon the tower, it's the season where the monsters in the tower are weakened. Why this is nobody really knows, but it is a great opportunity for those who seek to achieve what Gilgamesh once accomplished. To conquer the tower and get their hands on the Crystal Rod which is said to grant the one who gains it one wish.

Some of the Royal Guards' heroes such as @novaselinenever, Best Dad, and @AL sama, Al Scuma went out on an expedition through the tower just as the Summer began. However not long thereafter reports came in to the castle about Best Dad's sudden and untimely death. He had fallen in battle with one of the floor bosses, but not in vain.. As Al Scuma pushed onwards to the upper floors which were still very much unmapped.

That's when @Noctis, the Master of the Shadows appeared, and wiped out Al Scuma and all of his troops. As the Heroes were taken out of the picture, The Master of Shadows finally had a chance to get close to the King. And by his side many changes were made, The Master of the Shadows had all under control as he could sway the Kings opinion with the point of a finger.

It was not long after all of this that The Master of Shadows had placed in his most trusted ally into the castle and appointed him the title of Advisor to the King. This of course was none other than The Towniest Townie, @Dragomir himself. This was all part of the plan, The Master of Shadows had now found himself in a rank and status close to that of the ones who preceeded him, Al Scuma and Best Dad.

The Towniest Townie and Master of Shadows had convinced the King to formally create groups of adventurers and heroes to climb the tower and hopefully conquer it once and for all and bring peace and growth to the nation.

On a noticeboard in town it calls for all the heroes to come forth, present yourself before the king and perhaps you are the one who will lead a group of adventurers into glory and fame..

However.. It was just then when not only Druaga was a threat to the civilization, but something far more sinister had arrived..



THE DEATH OF YOUR WORLD HAS ARRIVED!


The Burning God, Fallen Titan, whatever you name him, Sargeras' has set his eyes intent on destroying this world, once and for all.
His Legion Commanders, Kil'Jaeden, Archimonde and Mannoroth are all present, and will do all in their power to summon Sargeras to this planet. And once that happens, consider your lives over.

At the start of Day 7 the game will end, however if only 1 commander is remaining, the summoning will require more effort and will instead happen at the end of N7.

@Fuji's role is Sargeras, he cannot be killed or lynched.

3 Players are possessed by the Legion Commanders, the people who are possessed are completely unaware of this fact.
To Remove Fuji from the game, and prevent the death of your world, you must successfully remove all 3 legion commanders. Legion Commanders will die if whoever is possessed by them dies, get lynched or exorcised.​

With that Day 1 has begun and you have 12 hours to sign up to become a party leader.
This phase will last for 48 hours. All other phases will last 24 hours.

So technically, out of 24 players, only 4 confirmed mafia members whereas one of them is already outed (Fuji) but cannot be touched. This is gonna be overkill if town members are 20 so I think that there are several third parties who can/cannot be harmful to town. My guess will be around 3 indies at most based on my experience playing a similar setup in OJ before.
