Speculations Seraphim role in the story

#1
Seraphim are children now, yet strong enough to replace the Shichibukai. When they become adults they will be giant adults and much more powerful

In Mariejoa we saw some tensions between Akainu and the Gorosei

I think the WG intends for the Seraphim to replace the navy in the future. They will follow any order blindly unlike marines so WG will have full control.

We saw from S-Snake that unlike the old pacifista, the seraphim are actually sentient and have personalities. This means Oda isn't going to have them simply be destroyed.

My guess, Vegapunk fixes them so that they are no longer slaves, and they get adopted by their original counterparts or friends/relatives of those counterparts after the series ends.

S-Shark becomes Jinbe's son and ends up as Shirahoshi's royal guard
S-Snake becomes Hancock's daughter and is raised to be the next Emperess of Amazon Lily
S-Bear becomes Bonney's son and eventually becomes the next king of sorbet kingdom
S-Hawk is raised by Zoro to become the next WSSM.

What the WG wants and what will happen are 2 different things, the Seraphim will eventually override the control chips.

Imo, this is an introductuon and they will be taken by CP0 at the end of the arc. Its been pointed out twice about how powerful they are as children and the fact that they arent full grown "giants" (not literally, but they are as large as their adult versions already).

Imo, they could be fights for the OG7 Shichibukai during the war:

- Mihawk will 1 shot S-Hawk lol
- Doflamingo may be relevant if he escapes ID (Bon Clay definitely needs to be seen in the story for example). I can see him being a reluctant ally like Crocodile was.
- Hancock, Jinbe (yes as a strawhat), Moria, and Crocodile all fight theres if relevant.
- Kuma depends on if he regains his conciousness by the end of the arc

A seraph (/ˈsɛrəf/, "burning one"; plural seraphim /ˈsɛrəfɪm/)[nb 1] is a type of celestial or heavenly being originating in Ancient Judaism. The term plays a role in subsequent Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.[4]
Tradition places seraphim in the highest rank in Christian angelology and in the fifth rank of ten in the Jewish angelic hierarchy. A seminal passage in the Book of Isaiah (Isaiah 6:1–8) used the term to describe six-winged beings that fly around the Throne of God crying "holy, holy, holy".
They are going to be the chief protectors / fighters for Imu-sama and possibly the Gorosei. The Seraphim exist to expose the glory of God. I imagine they will receive a better ending than most villains with free will given to them and possibly some characters taking them under their wings. But I fully expect every Seraph to be an enemy in the final war.
